Atlona AT-MDP14 Mini DisplayPort Splitter (1x4)

The AT-MDP14 Mini DisplayPort Splitter from Atlona Technologies is a 1-input-to-4-output splitter designed to allow a computer with a Mini DisplayPort connection (such as MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, Air, Mac Mini, etc.) the ability to be displayed on four Mini DisplayPort monitors simultaneously. The splitter will also work with DisplayPort monitors. However, an additional Mini-DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort adapter will be required. Most commonly used monitors are Apple 27" LED monitors and Apple 27" iMac.

This unit supports resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600. It also supports surround sound audio of PCM 7.1 & AC3. Audio can also be bypassed through the unit's USB connection, which can power the splitter at the same time. With four sets of EDID formats, the AT-MDP14 provides fast switching between displays. This saves the EDID's reading sync time to allow the image to be displayed properly and quickly.
