The HDMI to Mini DisplayPort Converter and Scaler from Atlona allows you to connect an HDMI-enabled source to a Mini-DisplayPort-enabled display or computer such as an Apple 24" or 27" LED or iMac 27". It is capable of accepting any incoming resolution up to 1080p through HDMI input and converting/scaling the output to either 1920 x 1200 or 720p.
This device supports 3D motion video adaptive, 3D de-interlacing, hue, saturation, sharpness, RGB (color tone) level, and aspect ratio size to increase picture quality of the original HDMI source. It also supports 50 Hz to 60 Hz frame rate conversion with a 60 Hz output, which allows users anywhere in the world to use their HDMI equipment.
Please note! The Atlona AT-DP300 will pass audio from the HDMI to iMac 27" or 27" LED display via Mini DisplayPort connection; however Apple 24" LED can't take audio from Mini DisplayPort (only through USB), therefore user would have to either use a separate audio output from the HDMI device to connect to AV Receiver or can also use an analog stereo output from HD620 to connect to a set of powered speakers.
Also, the AT-DP300 will not support the 2011 Apple iMac 27" with Thunderbolt connection.
