The Hitech 100 x 100mm Black 0.5 Movie Mist Filter helps to reduce the value of the highlights while slightly lowering the overall contrast. While designed for use with movies, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion or soft focus filter, Movie Mist filters provide little loss of detail across the image. The 0.5 density provides the most subtle effect, allowing for light softening and reduction in high-key situations.
This filter measures 3.9 x 3.9" / 100 x 100mm, making it compatible with the Cokin Z-Pro filter holder. Hitech filters are constructed out of CR-39 dyed resin.
