For the Pro on the go, the Cool-Lux Hollywood I Kit is an ideal, low-profile lighting system. The kit is built around the Combo-Light, a fixture born in Hollywood studios and re-invented with new features for video/studio/location needs. The Hollywood Combo Light is basically a broad light fitted with a steel scoop reflector that yields even, diffused light that makes it perfect for film, video, product or portrait photography as a fill, up-light or even as a footlight or cyc light, especially in tight places where softboxes can't fit.
The wide metal yoke has a 5/8" (16 mm) adapter for stand or hanging use. If the light is mounted aloft, the included safety cable is recommended to safeguard against injury. Although the Combo Light will handle up to 1,000W, a 500W lamp is included to make use of the compact 600W dimmer. The light, accessories and included 8.0' light stand fit into the provided heavy-duty soft case for storage and transport.
