The Belkin Conserve Smart AV Auto-Off Surge Protector features 1 master outlet, 5 master-controlled outlets and 2 independent outlets. When the device connected to the master outlet is turned on, the devices connected to the master-controlled outlets are turned on, too. Similarly, when the device at the master outlet is switched off, power to the devices at the master-controlled outlets, including stand-by power, goes off too - preventing any power waste.
With a resettable circuit breaker, the Auto-Off Surge Protector protects the connected devices from overloads. A built-in microprocessor determines when the Master- Controlled Outlets are to be turned on/off. In addition, the microprocessor also prevents accidental switching of the master.
The Conserve Smart AV Auto-Off Surge Protector displays a "Protected" light to warn you that a surge circuit is active, and a "Not Grounded" light that indicates that grounding is absent. It features a power switch that allows you to manually turn off power to the entire unit. The Surge Protector comes with a 4' (1.21 m) cord and color-coded outlets for easy installation.
