Grass Valley 600711 Overview

The Grass Valley HDSPARK Board with Edius 6 Video Editing Software is a combination of software and hardware solution for non-linear editing applications.

The HDSPARK Board is a PCI Express-based hardware board that allows video professionals to preview full-resolution projects in real-time. Featured HDMI output allows for full-resolution, real-time monitoring via Edius NLE software.

High-quality audio monitoring is offered via embedded HDMI audio output and separate RCA jacks. Precise editing and trimming is possible via video and audio outputs that stay in sync with editing windows. You can simultaneously edit HD and SD resolution video content in real time. The hardware board supports native video formats such as DV, HDV, AVCHD, and uncompressed formats. Real-time SD/HD resolution, aspect ratio, and frame-rate conversion is available for 16:9 to 4:3 and NTSC to PAL. In addition, the hardware board also offers GPU-accelerated 3D transitions.

EDIUS 6 Editing Software is a multi-format editing program designed for use by both filmmakers and broadcast professionals. It supports real-time conversion and editing of resolutions up to 4K and 10-bit editing support. In addition, the software also features real-time effects, keyers, transitions, and titles.

With multicam editing, up to 16 different sources can be edited simultaneously. Allowing data export in AVCHD format to a media card, the editing software supports Canon XF format and EOS movie format. In addition, you can directly export data to a Blu-ray Disc and a DVD. Featuring unlimited video, audio, title, and graphics tracks, the editing software offers flexible user interface.
