When confronted with a busy or unsightly photo location, it's great to have the option of shooting with your own background. The collapsible background has a steel spring sewn into the perimeter that holds the fabric tight when open, and collapses to 1/3 the full size when folded. For versatility, the background is reversible, and offers the photographer two backdrop choices. Easy to setup, the background has touch-fasteners for hanging vertically or horizontally, and is easily clipped to the included 8' stand, too. When not in use, the background may be stored in the included carry bag.

Would the stand allow this to touch the floor for full length portraits of little ones?
The Savage Collapsible Stand Kit (60 x 72", Dark/Light Gray) does not allow by design for it to sweep and have it as a floor to background effect.

how does this backdrop attach to this stand?
There is a clip on the stand that holds the backdrop, and the bottom of the backdrop has velcro straps that will secure it in a vertical position. The clip has a squeeze-open structure, kinda like the plunger on a hypodermic syringe. You press it open, slip the metal fram of the backdrop into the clip, and then release the clip. Spring pressure holds the backdrop frame securely.
