The RDL EZ-HK1 Stereo Audio Hum Killer is a stereo audio transformer isolation module. It's designed specifically for use with unbalanced, high-impedance audio inputs. The device features both input and output connections on gold-plated RCA jacks. Each input jack is electrically isolated from the case itself, as well as from the output ground. Each output jack is connected to the rear-panel ground-lift switch, which is designed to eliminate hum due to ground loops. Ground loops are common when the EZ-HK1 is installed between an unbalanced audio source (such as a computer, CD player, cassette player or other consumer audio product) and the input of a grounded amplifier in an audio system.

RDL EZ-HK1 Reviews
Excellent performance, just wish would go on sale
This is the second one I have purchased. This falls into the great to have, but save up to afford it category.
Excellent -- worked when other options failed
I was having an issue with a hum/buzz when connecting the camera-out of my Tascam DR-701D recorder to the mic-in of my Panasonic GH4 camera, while syncing both devices via HDMI. I tried a variety of ways to track down and isolate the problem, including a couple of other hum eliminators, but nothing consistently worked. The EZ-HK1, connected between the devices via its stereo mini jacks, solved the problem perfectly. I was also impressed by the overall build quality -- unlike so much stuff these days that's cheaply made, this is a solid, well-designed product that feels like it's going to last. It doesn't have XLR or 1/4 connections (I have other options for those) but for mini-jacks or RCA, it's excellent.
