Will it work with canvas backdrops?

Will it work with canvas backdrops?
Asked by: Anonymous
If the canvas is rolled up and the roll is similar in width to a paper backdrop then sure. It’ll hold anything that’s around the same size as a standard paper roll.

question

Can you mount casters to the bottom so it can be rolled/moved? I want to put this in a closet but I will have to move it out of the closet to get the backdrops out of the display stand due to low ceilings in the closet.
Asked by: melissa k.
I wouldnt recommend it. The cart is good looking but a bit flimsy, especially with weight of the seamless rolls. The frame of the cart consists of 1/2 in square pieces, probably hollow, but can not tell for sure. The frame is capped on the end; the caps are painted or welded closed. A better idea would be to build a small stand with mounted casters and place the cart on that. Good luck!
