On the 17" monitor there is a plug similar to SDI BNC, but it's not a standard BNC. Can you tell me what the plug is?
The Prompter People StagePro 17" Presidential Teleprompter kit does not have an SDI input. The connectors are HDMI, VGA, and Composite RCA inputs. RCA would be composite input. A possible solution if you require SDI input with this prompter model would be to use a SDI to HDMI converter.

I would just like to ask if we order the prompter people teleprompter that has 17 monitor size ($3,199), is the size of the mirror (beamsplitter) going to be upgraded to? Can it be upgraded from its standard size that is 14 x 12 to 14 x 14 ? We hope to get your immediate response today.
Hi Cecilia,I'm not aware of a 14 x 14 option for the beamsplitters. However, since the monitor is a 17 unit, everything on screen does fit nicely on the glass. You'd only need to increase the beamsplitter if you used screens that were not 4:3 or if you moved up to something larger than the 17 screen. To put it another way: the two inches gained would be on the width and you'll not gain anything in the re-flection. The key to maximum readability is to increase the size of the fonts in the software to make it readable to the speaker. Meanwhile the display size in that 4:3 reflection is only changed by increasing the size of the monitor. The later is far less important unless you'll have these out way out in front of the speaker. That's not generally the case. Hope this helps!
