The Prompter People Flex 15 Teleprompter Kit includes FLEX 15 teleprompter, Flip-Q Pro software (comes on a USB stick), and a heavy duty tripod. With a 15” (38.1 cm) LCD screen, the teleprompter supports any DV camera ranging from MiniDV to ENG, and DSLR cameras, and offers a visual range up to 18’ (5.5 m). The teleprompter comes with an aluminum extrusion frame, which provides balance when used with any camera. An anti-reflection coating in the rear of the screen prevents reflections on the lens.
Featuring a completely tool-less design, the Flex Series Teleprompter allows for a quick setup, and can be easily folded for secure transport and storage use. Height and angle adjustment allows the Premium HD 60/40 adjustable glass beamsplitter to be tuned to ensure that the camera is centered and suited to the presenter’s viewing angle. Additionally, the top side camera adjustment allows you to adjust the position of the camera horizontally as well as vertically. This freestanding 'run & gun' model teleprompter supports composite and VGA inputs.
Flip-Q software, with a dual screen scrolling engine, reverses the secondary PC or laptop output without reversing the operators display. This enables the use of less expensive non-reversing VGA displays without sacrificing the functionality or performance. It features RTF text editor, and allows you to import RTF and TXT files. Additionally, Flip-Q software offers color background, color fonts, preset font size, color, style, black and white fonts, user selectable cue points, run lists, run from selected cursor and selectable cue marker.
The Flip-Q software also features quarter size operator display, sensitivity control, UNICODE support, foot pedal support, find, replace and undo function, wireless controller option, text justification, variable line spacing, and interface in 9 different languages.
The Heavy-duty Tripod can hold camera systems weighing up to 30 lb (13.61 kg). Aluminum alloy construction offers sturdiness and shock-resistance. The 3-stage tripod can be extended to a length up to 72” (183 cm) and folded down to 30" (76.2 cm).Equipped with fluid cartridges, the tripod head offers continuous drag control while encompassing a wide range of friction control down to 'zero drag'. It offers panning and tilting functions with independent pan and tilt locking mechanisms. Pro dual pan handles allow you to smoothly pan and tilt the camera setup with greater efficiency.
