General Electric GEA-C3-D26N Overview

The General Electric Legend IP 26x Day/Night Dome Camera (Wall Mount, Clear Acrylic Bubble), with a 1/4" image sensor and a 3.5mm (wide) to 91mm (tele) lens, delivers high-quality images at a resolution up to 470 TVL. A minimum illumination of 0.07 lux makes the camera suitable for low-light surveillance.

Equipped MPEG-4 video encoder offers images at D1 resolution at 30 fps over a 10/100BASE-T Ethernet network. The encoder also provides a data channel for controlling and programming the dome across the network. You can also use the built-in web page to connect, view, and control the camera via any PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer on the same network. The Legend IP dome is fully compatible with SymSuite including SymSecure, SymNav, SymDec, and SymNet.

Defined by its SilkTrak direct drive technology, the network dome camera does away with gears and belts, and provides smooth and accurate PTZ movement for optimal performance. You can attain a preset positioning accuracy of ±0.015° with closed-loop positioning technology.

Supporting a tilt travel of 184° for above-horizon viewing and electronic image flip, the Legend PTZ dome camera can track activity directly underneath it without having to spin on its pan axis. The 127 preset positions enable you to store pan, tilt, and zoom positions along with the camera settings that include backlight compensation, iris, and shutter settings. Featured 16 shadow tours allow you to store a total of 20 minutes of pan, tilt, and zoom operation. You can program up to 32 macros, each with up to 16 steps that can be set for presets, tours, relay outputs, or links to other macros. The PTZ camera allows you to assign 8 alarm inputs to presets, tours, or macros, and control 1 or both relay outputs.

Privacy Masking enables you to mask up to 24 zones, out of which 8 masked areas can be displayed simultaneously. Spherical Privacy Masking uses a 3D representation of the camera view to reduce mask drift caused by camera tilt angle. Separate passcode levels allow administrative access, preventing unauthorized users from changing programming settings. Built-in graphical menus allow you to quickly adjust elements that include presets, tours, macros, privacy masks, and alarms.

Made of gray ABS plastic, the IP66-rated, weatherproof wall mount housing with a clear acrylic dome bubble can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.
