Plus, when you're ready to share your files, a USB arm easily flips up, out and connects to your PC or Mac for fast file transfer transfers. Upon connection to your either a PC or Mac, the preloaded FlipShare software starts up facilitates quick editing, the making video greeting cards and easy uploading to social media sites. The software also lets you pull digital still images from your captured video. If you just want to share your footage with friends and family on your HDTV, the Ultra HD Video Camera has a mini-HDMI port. HDMI supports the uncompressed transfer of both video and audio in a single cable. Your H.264 format videos are shot in 720p HD and they'll be played back in 720p high-definition on your HDTV. Any AAC format audio captured during your recording will also playback uncompressed and crystal clear. The Ultra HD runs on two standard AA batteries, but you can also purchase a Flip Video AA Rechargeable Battery Pack (sold separately) and enjoy up to two hours of battery life on a six hour USB charge.
