The KanexPro DVI Switcher (2 x 1) is designed to perform switching between 2 DVI/HDMI sources with stereo audio across a single display monitor. Being HDCP compliant and with a built-in EDID & HDCP internal management, the DVI Switcher internally manages the handshaking that occurs between the splitter and display devices.
Offering a bandwidth of up to 10.2 Gbps, the switcher supports signals with resolution up to 1920 x 1200 and full HD resolutions up to 1080p/60 with 12-bit color depth support. In addition, it supports DDC transmission for an error-free connection with display device. Featuring automatic gain compensation and equalization, the switcher compensates for signal loss and provides high quality transmissions up to 100’ (30 m).
With audio breakaway switching, the DVI Switcher lets you separate audio from video while switching. Control for the switcher is provided via IR, RS-232, and front-panel buttons, which make it suitable for use in any Pro A/V environment such as conference rooms, educational facilities, control rooms, monitoring centers, and government institutions. Featuring an aluminum enclosure, the switcher can be mounted on a table or fixed on a wall. In addition, the DVI Switcher accepts AC supply in the range from 100 to 240 V 50/60 Hz.
