This breakout box is rated for "5A Max Global (60W)". Should I get a more powerful unit if I want to power the SD888, with SL-2 superslots and 8M power station (for the A20 Minis)?

As the Remote Audio BDSv4U Battery Distribution System is designed for bag use with components drawing less power, it would be recommended to implement multiple redundant power distros with a second battery or perhaps a larger power distro designed for cart use such as BH #REMEONLIFE Remote Audio Meon LiFe Cart Power System: https://bhpho.to/3ITnzEE

I have a PSC NP-1 Battery Cup with a 4-pin Hirose ...

I have a PSC NP-1 Battery Cup with a 4-pin Hirose Connector that I use to power my SD 633 and F8n Mixer. I was told that battery cup was specifically designed to work with the PSC Power Star Mini Distribution System. Would it be able to work with the RA BDSv4U as well? Or would I need to buy a battery cup with specifically from Remote Audio? Not sure if the two products had to be uniformly from the same company?
Asked by: Thomas
The connecton is TA4 on the Remote Audio gear. so your PSC NP-1 cup with a 4-pin Hirose connector will not be compatible. The Remote Audio 24" BDS Input Cable with NP-1 Battery Cup to TA4F, BH #REBDSNPADW is he appropriate cup for this item.

question

does this need a cable to connect the battery to the mixer, or is that a separate cable?
Asked by: Anonymous
You will need to purchase a NP1 Battery Cup( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/283344-REG/Remote_Audio_BDSNPADW_18_BDS_Power_Input.html) This is where you will plug in your NP1 battery. Depending on what mixer you have you will need a Hirose to BDS Cable. Hope that helps you out. SuperNova Audio, LLC
