G Lens Cap for Lumix Lenses (46mm) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great replacement item Dropped one of these into a lake while taking it off a lens, so ordered two replacements (since I'm pretty sure to do that again someday). I like the central-squeeze design much better than the edge-release of the Olympus caps. They do the job well, seem sturdy enough, although they are a little expensive for such a simple item, hence only 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Leica Lenses Very good Quality Lens Cap easy to take off and put on Perfect fit for your Leica/Zeiss M mount lenses with 46mm filter threads. (I also like the fact that it doens't say Leica/Zeiss and says Lumix to hide the brand)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits perfectly on my GF1 It does exactly what it says it will do and fits snugly on the pancake lens that I got with my GF1 (I previously bought a non-panasonic lens cap that said it would fit my Lumix lens, and it didn't). I wish it had some kind of leash system included with it. The only way to keep it attached is to buy (or hack together) a separate lens cap leash thingy that uses adhesive to stick to the lens cap and ties to your camera. Not the most elegant solution. But as a lens cap alone, it's aces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like the one I lost Easy to put on and take off. Exactly like the one that came with my Panasonic pancake lens that I lost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked as advertised It's exactly what I wantedthe OEM cap. When I lost the original one that came with my lens, I bought an aftermarket one to replace it. The replacement fit fine, but required you to grab the edges to manipulate and so was near impossible to use with the hood on the lens. The Panasonic version pinches from the middle and is much easier to remove. I wish the springs were a little smoother, but that's a nit. Should I lose my cap again, I'll look for this to replace it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Internal tabs work My panasonic 14mm and 20mm lenses came with caps with squeeze tabs that stick out beyond the extent of the cap. This wasn't a problem until I put third-party lens hoods on the lenses. I could have a cap or a hood on the lens but not both. The external tabs made the cap too big to fit. The caps with the internall tabs have no such problem and now I can put both on simultaneously.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed for 25mm; works inside lens hood Side pinch caps don't work on Leica 25mm 1.4 when you have the lens shade on. This center pinch cap does. Will also work inside the vented 46mm leica-style metal hoods (by fotdiox & rainbow imaging) I use to protect the 14mm and 20mm when shooting. Prefer to just cap a 55mm on the outside of the hood, but if there's dust and wind, this 46mm will fit inside to seal the lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Preferred Style of Lens Cap I prefer the internally tabbed lens caps because they are easier to remove and put back on the lens without removing the lens hood. I use these on my micro 4/3s 46mm lenses, both Panasonic and Olympus. They work well. I wish Panasnic included them with all their 46mm lenses, not just most.
