I bought a used 25mm 1.7, and it came with a generic cap. I bought this to have it match. Doesn't improve my photos one bit though.

Will this fit a Lumix DMC-FZ35? It is a fixed-lens camera and I use 46 mm filters with it.
The FZ35 Lens retracts inside the Lens Barrel. 55mm is the diameter of the barrel and 46mm is the diameter of the glass. So a 55mm lens cap would work on the barrel and, if you're able to retract 46mm filters inside the barrel you should be able to retract this lens cap as well.Panasonic VYK2U93 - I think this is the item # for an exact replacement of the original DMC-FZ35 lens cap.

If the filter has threads on the front to mount another filter/hold a lens cap then yes. Some Circular Polarizers have a low profile design and lack any front threads to hold a cap to.

Will this lens cap fit the original lens hood for the Lens Hood Cap for Panasonic Leica 15mm f1.7 Lens?
It fits inside the hood and attaches to the lens itself, the center pinch aspect aids in this. I find it works better for me than the rubber hood that fits the outer hood.

Yes. It fits the standard 46mm lens diameter, which that lens is. I actually bought it for the Olympus 25mm f/1.8 which is also 46mm.
