The KanexPro HDMI Splitter with Full HD 1080p (2 x 4) is used to distribute 2 HDMI input signals across 4 HDMI outputs. Offering data transfer rates up to 6.75 Gbps, the splitter supports up to Full HD 1080p and WUXGA computer resolutions. Featuring signal equalization and regeneration, it maintains signal integrity over the transmission lengths up to 50’ (15 m).
Being HDCP and EDID compliant, the HDMI splitter offers easy management of the handshaking that occurs between the splitter and display devices. In addition, it supports HDMI high speed specifications such as Deep color, HD lossless audio formats, and Lip Sync. Using front panel LED indicators, the splitter provides indication for presence of signals on the input/output channels.
The HDMI splitter supports multi-channel embedded digital audio and formats such as Dolby Digital, DTS-HD, and Dolby True HD audio. It operates on 5 VDC power, provided via an included power supply. Multiple units can be cascaded to expand the number of input ports, useful in multiple display environments such as digital signage for airports, shopping malls, and medical imaging markets.
