Great for photographing watercolor paintings. Good daylight color.Should last 10,000 hrs! The flourescent bulb is also cool to the touch. Works well in a soft box. The bulb is a little loose in the socket, so must be careful when moving the soft box around. 500 watts!

Fluorescent lights just like LED lights are not rated in watts but in lumens. They do not compare well as Quartz lights have about the best throw of light. Meaning light from fluorescent and LED lights will not go as far or as bright. A rough estimate on those bulbs is that they are each like a 100-125 quartz bulb.

Does anyone know the CRI value of these bulbs?

The manufacture does not list the CRI on this lamp. Ones like this are not more than 82 CRI.The lamp listed below if the fixture you have can work with the physical size of the lamp has a CRI of 90.
