The Photogenic AKC325K 320W/s Basic Studio 2 Light Soft Box Kit (120V AC) is a great way to achieve studio-quality lighting in-house or on location at a price point that won't strain your budget. The kit is built around the lightweight, dependable StudioMax III flash head. Like its big brother the Solair flash head, the StudioMax III employs Constant Color Technology. While it's quite common for other brands' color temperature to vary wildly when dropping from full to minimum power, the StudioMax III varies a virtually indiscernible 200K from full to 1/128 power. The two 160W/s heads are capable of fast recycling (1.5 sec.) at full power as well as fast flash durations at minimum power which is ideal for capturing every fleeting gesture with subjects in motion like athletes or dancers.
