The kit is built around the lightweight, dependable StudioMax III AC/DC flash head. Like its big brother the Solair flash head, the StudioMax III employs Constant Color Technology. While it's quite common for other brands' color temperature to vary wildly when dropping from full to minimum power, the StudioMax III varies a virtually indiscernible 200K from full to 1/128 power.
