The Photogenic AKC990BK 960W/s Portrait Studio 3 Light Soft Box Kit (AC/DC) is a great way to achieve studio-quality lighting in-house or on location, even when there's no electricity available, at a price point that won't strain your budget. The kit is built around the lightweight, dependable StudioMax III AC/DC flash head. Like its big brother the Solair flash head, the StudioMax III employs Constant Color Technology. While it's quite common for other brands' color temperature to vary wildly when dropping from full to minimum power, the StudioMax III varies a virtually indiscernible 200K from full to 1/128 power. The 320W/s head is capable of fast recycling (3.0 sec.) at full power as well as fast flash durations at minimum power, which is ideal for capturing every fleeting gesture with subjects in motion like athletes or dancers.

question
GN170?? Seems incredible, what are real world exposures 10ft @ ASA100?
Guide number divided by the distance from light to subject gives you your F stop using ISO 100.So GN170/ 10' =F17 rounded to F16.Adjust fstop up or down depending on ISO you're using.
