This item, placed at the entry of the negative strip, does a great job of keeping the dust to a minimum while doing no harm to the emulsion. Perfect!

Had been using anti-static cloths but had concerns about possible scratched and length of life. This is smaller then I anticipated but works well for 35 mm film and negatives, able to make several passes quickly. Results are good, follow up with air compressor and airbrush. Hope to use it also for 4x5 but it will take additional passes to cover entire image area. Like that it can be cleaned to preserve function.

Does this work better than an anti-static cloth or anti-satic brush for 35mm negatives?
Asked by: Richard
This works very well to remove dust from negatives. Using this in conjunction with an anstistat cloth is ideal. If there are any minute particles that are stuck on, etc... the cloth is good for that.

Could this be used for cleaning dust off of photo prints (up to 4x6")?
Asked by: Douglas
This product would be too small to clean a 4 x 6" print. A better option is the Ilford Antistaticum Anti-Static Cloth - 13 x 13", B&H # ILASC. https://bhpho.to/2U6DcAz
