The Link Electronics Remote Control Panel with Pre-Numbered Buttons (E Type) enables you to remotely control a 762 series 16x16 router over a LAN connection. In addition to RS-232 control, this panel offers Ethernet to free up the RS232 port for other uses. The control panel also eliminates the isolation problem that can cause all panels to lock up if a single panel fails (in a multi-panel RS232 control setup).
Employing individually rear lit elastomeric switches and gold contacts, the E type panels offer enhanced tactile feel and high reliability. Featured XY backlit button system indicates the corresponding input for a selected output. All XY panels also support AFV (Audio Follow Video) and Audio Breakaway selection, which indicate audio input and output connections via steady or flashing buttons.
