STUDIO DRUMMER from Native Instruments is a virtual realization of a real drummer in software, with everything needed to create realistic acoustic drum tracks. Included are three top-of-the-line drum kits, detailed mixing options, and a ready-to-go groove library packed with authentic beats of all colors and flavors.
Thanks to more than 3,500 authentic grooves, the software makes it easy for anyone to produce lifelike and dynamic sounding drum tracks. An on-board mixer and powerful effects deliver enough usability, versatility and tweak-ability to meet the demands of all music producers, regardless of genre. Playback is available via a free download of the KONTAKT PLAYER.
The samples were meticulously recording using only top-flight equipment. This included an SSL 9072J console, Millennia HV-308 preamps, and compressors/limiters in the form of a Fairchild 670 and Prism Sound MLA-2. Microphone manufactures included Neumann, Sennheiser, Coles, AKG, Shure and Audio-Technica.

The Studio
Mixer

- Each snare provides faders for top and bottom microphone, plus adjustable bleed level (bleed refers to how the rest of the kit rattles the snare wires - raise the bleed level for more realism)
- On the kick, adjust the level of the inside and outside microphone s, plus an additional "sub" fader, to get the perfect amount of click vs. boom
