The Shure Softie Windshield for VP89 Long Shotgun Mic is a joint effort between Shure and Rycote. The windshield is made to slip onto the VP89L long shotgun microphone and provide up to 25 dB of wind noise attenuation. The softie is made of an open-cell-foam and artificial-fur outer layer.
