My customer uses their SM-58 wireless microphone for meetings and no one could figure out how to speak into the mic. Now with this omnidirectional cartridge they don't need to speak into the mic, just near it!

We were looking to extend the distance one could hold the mic from the mouth. It did give us ~1 more inch.  The mic is used in a church where we pass the mic around and people can speak into it.
