Dynalite CBS-304 reviews

Light Stand Carry Bag is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well padded, long bag for tall light stands I took a chance on this bag since it was listed as a special order and didn't have any reviews to go by, and so far I'm glad that I did. The bag is padded on all sides with a semi-rigid bottom. Inside, there are two pads that run the full length of the bag. These pads are sewn to form a "V" if your were to look at a cross section of the bag. In other words, I have my three largest stands in this bag, and one is on the bottom left of the bag, another is on the bottom right, and the third is nestled quite nicely on the top of the other two, sitting inside the "V" padding which keeps them all separate. There are two inside straps which do a good job of keeping everything in place, and an inside 8 x 17 inch zippered pocket for smaller items. I really, really like the three straps that snap across the zipper. These straps take the burden of holding the contents of the bag together, and the zipper pretty much serves to just told the bag shut. As a result I expect the zipper to last much longer on this bag than my others. And speaking of straps, every strap on this bag seems to be oversized compared to my other bags. The handle straps are 2" wide, and all of the other straps are 1". I was kind of surprised to discover that there weren't any D rings on the ends bag. The bag is way to long to comfortably use a shoulder strap attached to each end, but I'd still use them to attach luggage tags with my name and contact information, etc.. Not really a problem though...I just attached my luggage tags to the hand straps. And yes, the bag really does hold its shape as well as it looks in the picture...even when filled with my three large stands...due to the nice side padding that goes up the sides and then curves over the top to meet at the zipper, which is covered with a rain flap that runs the full length of the zipper. (I don't know what else to call it...a zipper protection flap?) At this point I don't really have any input to provide regarding the durability of the seams, etc., since it just arrived today, but everything feels solid and I expect that it will perform well.
