Great Support

I bought this to use with my Canon 70-200 f/2.8 II along with the Canon 2X Extender III. I don't mind mounting the 70-200 onto my C300 but with the extender I knew I would need extra support. This unit worked great however I felt as though the 2x extender softened up my images too much so I returned the extender but kept the lens support bracket to use on future long lenses... for whatever I get next. Very well designed and constructed. Works great with my rig and I like how I have the option to allow the lens to lay on the rubberized wheels or utilize the screw for lenses that have a tripod mount. My only complaint would be that for something of this size, and the materials it's made of, and not that it's made cheaply, it should just cost less. Luckily I was able to utilize an educational discount but even that was still higher than it should have been.

Poorly designed

Tried using the screw on attachment on a 70-200, probably the most common set up this would be used. No matter what I tried, would not clear the mounting plate. It's obvious whoever designed this has never used a camera before in their lives.
