The Panasonic SD 5 Vandal-Resistant Fixed Dome Camera (2.2mm Lens, Flush Mount) with a 1/3" interline transfer CCD image sensor delivers high-quality images at horizontal resolutions up to 650 / 700 TVL (color / B&W). Minimum illumination levels of 0.1 lux (color) and 0.01 lux (B&W) make the camera suitable for lowlight surveillance. An IR-cut filter enables the camera to switch between color and B&W as per the changes in ambient lighting.
Adaptive Black Stretch technology produces clear images by enhancing the visibility of objects in dark areas of a video scene without degrading the image quality in the brighter areas. With i-VMD (intelligent Video Motion Detection) technology, the SD 5 camera reliably detects moving objects within a targeted area, and helps spot items that are removed or left behind. The feature can recognize scene changes when lens is covered, spray-painted, removed or defocused. Built-in Auto Back Focus adjusts the positioning of the CCD sensor to ensure accurate focusing in both color and B&W modes. Additionally, the Auto Back Focus highly reduces post-installation intervention.
Coupled with adaptive 2D/3D filtering Digital Noise Reduction technology, the SD 5 Fixed Dome Camera digitally corrects any video noise that could cause distortion in the images. Auto Image Stabilizer reduces motion-blurring of images where the camera is subject to high frequency vibrations.
The 2-piece mounting bracket design of the fixed dome camera makes for easy installation. IP66-rated weatherproof, vandal-resistant housing ensures uninterrupted surveillance in exposed and high-risk locations.
