The Tiffen 95mm Coarse Threads Rotating 1mm Streak Effect Filter is a cross screen filter providing one reflected light point stemming from specular highlights within the image frame. When this filter is rotated in front of the lens, the point shifts about the highlight. This effect is caused by thinly etched lines on one of the planes of the filter. These etched lines are spaced 1mm apart, producing visual depth and separation between light points in the resulting image. Streak effect filters are most effective when not used in conjunction with other filters.
