The GorillaPod Micro 250 Tripod with Mini Ball Head - Black/Gray isn't technically microscopic, but you will have trouble seeing it when its legs are folded up and it's concealed underneath the base of your small point & shoot camera. The Micro 250 is designed to be an always-on tripod, which connects to your camera via its standard 1/4"-20 screw. It's just over half an inch thick when folded and it weighs only 0.9 oz, so you'll never have a reason to remove it – it will fit comfortably with your camera inside almost any case.

Fan out its legs, and you suddenly have a stable base of support that will allow you to set your camera down on many objects & surfaces to capture a rock-solid shot – whether a low-light landscape photo or a time-lapse video. The stainless-steel mini ball head of the GorillaPod 250 tilts up to 36° in any direction, so you can level out the frame even if your shooting surface has a significant grade to it. The colorful rubber grips at the ends of the legs lend the Micro 250 sure footing on almost any surface.

GorillaPod Micro 250 Tripod with Mini Ball Head - Black/Gray is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little gizmo This is a really useful add-on to my camera. I do a lot of hiking and this tripod is so small and light I just slip into a pocket; yet it's sturdy and stable enough to do the job. I can usually find something like a log or a rock to place the tripod on, and then use the tilt and swivel capability provided by the ball-joint to compensate for any uneven surface and lock the camera on the subject. The only issue I have with it is that it is not always that easy to attach to the camera - although it's probably small enough such that you could leave it attached if you wanted to and still pocket the camera. Well worth the few dollars I paid for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for quick pictures. I've had my micro tripod for over a year now and it is still in good condition. I use for all my outting adventures. Its steady for quick and easy timed picture. Paired with the phone mount it makes a great stand for watching videos. Its a great item for those who love taking pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Tiny Tripod This tripod is amazing. It is tiny and hides below the camera completely. It does make a bump on the bottom, so you can't set your camera down on its bottom once installed. It is perfect for doing quick shots with your point and shoot camera. You can flip it open, set your camera and take a shot. Some folks have complained about it scratchin the bottom of your camera or coming unscrewed when you close it. I came up with a solution that addresses both of these issues. Get a small rubber washer at your local home improvement store and put it on the tripod before installing it to your camera. This prevents scratches and somewhat helps with the unscrewing problem. I did find that it stays screwed in on some cameras better than others. Also, if you want to tighten the screw, only use a dime. I don't recommend a screwdriver, as the screw metal is sort of soft and easy to damage if your screwdriver slips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Take It Anywhere Very small, very noticeable good quality. I've never seen one designed like this and am glad I bought it. Takes up virtually no space and as I said is well machined and nice quality. Very sturdy. Not goofy looking like I think most of the Joby pods are. Says it comes with a small ball head but this one didn't have a ball head on or with it. No matter, I've got a spare that fit just right. Still gets a good rating from me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product the micropod is a good little product.  Well made.  Really wish it was lighter.  0.9 oz is a  lot added on a 4 oz camera in your pocket, the heavier feel is very noticeable..  Its very durable, seems even overkill for small point and shoot.  A lighter model with more plastic or aluminum might be sufficient for small cameras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Complement to GM5 I bought a GM5 as a go anywhere camera, and was looking for some cheap/compact stabilization. This tripod was the perfect addition as when screwed in it's legs don't extend beyond the bottom of the camera and adds very little to the size. It's well constructed and stiff at first, good buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very clever twist on - but check the weight of your camera. This is an extremely well made and ingenious tripod. Tucks right away under the camera. The drawback s camera weight. My Fuji X30 is too heavy. The weight limit is 8 ounces, but that wasn't clear when I purchased mine. Still, it's very clever and has potential. I'm keeping it regardless.
