PortaBrace RS-NEXFS100 Reviews
Test before it starts Raining
Porta Brace makes a good product, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do which is keep precipitation off of the camera during rain/snow. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the lack of instructions, and the initial half an hour it takes to get this rain jacket on. Once again, not a bad product by any stretch of the imagination. It's just a little awkward the first couple times you put it on, and God help you if you're in the field, and it's raining.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT ... a t a l l !
It all started with the fact that the product comes with no paper work AT ALL. No warranty or even a simple sheet of paper with a tip on how to place it on the FS100. I have hard time to believe this was made for the FS100. Very hard to SEE and ACCESS the buttons. Forget about accessing the lens. Maybe it's aimed to use with some extra gear that I don't have and wasn't told about it. I was really upset to have counted on it because I needed immediatly. I've just returned it! Waste of money because i had to pay for 3 days shipping and now another shipping to return :( I should have got the water case, which for this cam is quite affordable. Living and learning!! I wish B&H would OK the efficiency of what they sell...oh well. Good luck!
