The 20x50 Escape Binoculars from Barska are multi-coated, Porro prism binoculars with BAK7 glass, designed for all types of outdoor activities. The 50mm objectives increase the light-gathering ability of the binoculars, which translates into greater detail and sharper image clarity, attributes which are especially useful in low-light conditions or distance viewing. A threaded-mount receptacle has been designed into the housing to allow an adaptor to be attached to the binoculars for use with a tripod or window mount. These binoculars are designed for convenience and ease of use. A large tactile center focus knob makes for fast and precise focusing. An eyepiece diopter adjustment allows customization for each individual eye affording less eyestrain over long-term viewing. They have shock-absorbing rubber armoring for a comfortable, secure, and slip-free grip.

Barska Escape 20x50 Reviews
Ergonometric problems.
Good 20X50 binoculars, but the soft rubber eye cups prevent me from getting close enough to the eyepieces to get a good image, or adjust the eyepieces close enough together. If I remove them, I can see great.
Another stinky Barska product!
The Barsk Cosmos 20x80 astronomy binos smelled bad, and were low optical quality (eg. lime green rind around the Moon!) and I hey were fartoo large for my intended purpose of solar/lunar observation. I bought these 20x50 binos as a more appropriate size, and while they do not smell as badly of cheap rubber as the Cosmos model, these are somewhat smelly and of equally poor optical quality. The rotating/retractable rubber eye cups are a joke! I would prefer a simple, fold down rubber eye cup, but these have semi-rigid rubber cups which retract by rotating them. They do not fold out to block stray light, making them worthless for solar/lunar observation. Does not seem possible to screw in a solar filter, so would have to use either slip on or rubber banded solar filter film, no thanks! I like my retinas and want the ability to screw in proper solar filters. Could not in good faith recommend these Barska products. I think I will pay the extra money for the Vixen 20x50 binos and review them when they arrive.
