Barska 10-30x60mm Gladiator Zoom Binoculars
Key Features
 • Zoom Magnification Lever
 • Traditional BK7 Porro Prisms
 • Anti-Reflection Multi-Coated Ruby Optics
 • Large Center Focusing Wheel
The 10-30x60mm Gladiator Zoom Binoculars from Barska are designed for long-distance terrestrial and astronomical viewing. The powerful variable magnification range allows the viewer to scan a large field of view and then zoom in on the selected object to make detailed observations. The large, oversized objectives and ruby multi-coatings draw in copious amounts of light to push the low-light capabilities of the optic beyond smaller optics, while a large exit pupil at low magnification ensures complete coverage of the user's pupil when it gets fully dilated as light fades. An ergonomically placed zoom lever allows users to make fast magnification changes while viewing through the eyepieces with a simple movement of their right index or middle finger. The large objectives add weight to the binoculars; so to reduce arm fatigue from holding them for long-duration glassing sessions, or to keep the binoculars steady at high magnifications, they can be tripod mounted using an optional adapter.

question

We purchased the scope, it states it is waterproof. We have water and fogging inside the scope. What is our next step in checking into this. Can it be sent to manufacturer or you for repair?
Asked by: Shawna D.
The best thing to do is contact the manufacturer. If there are any repairs needed they would be the ones to do them.

question

I am looking for a tripod that suits this spotting scope, I would like it to extend to 60 inches, can you recommend?Something not too expensive
Asked by: colin H.
I would recommend the Magnus VT-4000 Tripod System with Fluid Head. This model goes up to 59 max in height. But quality and price point it is very good. Website link: http://bhpho.to/1dvMomo

question

Is the eye piece threaded? I want to attach a digiscope adapter so I can get a camera on there
Asked by: Richard S.
No, although I believe an adaptor is available for a camera. It is a good scope for for my use but I believe you have to shop and compare by going to a retail outlet and spend some time testing models against what your needs/wants are. Can't do this online although after going through this exercise, the best deals are online.

question

I am looking to mount this scope to the iOptron 3500, but I can't find any information on the Barska threads. The iOptron 3500 has 3/8 -16 male threads. Will this scope mount on the iOpteron?
Asked by: Chuck T.
This model has a 1/4 -20 threading. You would need to get the Oben 3/8 -16 to 1/4 -20 Reducer Bushing to adapt this scope onto your Tripod. Website link: https://bhpho.to/2gGw2Pp

question

IS THE BARSKA 30-90X 100 GLADIATER CONSIDERED A T MOUNT SCOPE OR DOES IT HAVE T THREAD ON THE EYEPIECE?
Asked by: ADNAN M.
There are male threads located on the body of the scope around the base of the eyepiece. The threads are not on the eyepiece itself but they are on the body of the scope. They appear to be for a T mount adapter. I emailed Barska and the customer service rep. said the threads are 1/32. I would like to find a t mount adapter for this scope but I have not been able to locate one. I hope this helps.

Both are nice binocular's. I would personally recommend the Celestron models. They are excellent quality. Also the company has been around for a very long time.

question

Looking for a long range shot spotter out to 1000 meters...would the gladiator suit for this use ?
Asked by: Cj L.
I've used mine out to 2100yds. It will be effective at 1000m. It all depends what you are looking for of course. Hit mark on a painted steel target, yes. Hole in a paper target, no.
