The Mamiya Leaf Aptus-II 56 Digital Back puts the aforementioned phenomenal pixel count at your disposal for bringing out detail in your work you've never experienced before. Compatible with the included 645DF Camera Body, the Aptus-II back provides 16 bit high dynamic range color and the ability to render awe-inspiring images, even when tightly cropped. The 56 back provides the largest CCD sensor size of the Leaf Aptus-II series at 56 x 36mm and it puts out an impressive 9334 x 6000 pixels. Uncompressed RAW files are 115MB in size and the compressed RAW files are 78MB.
Along with the included 80mm LS lens, the camera body can also shoot focal plane lenses, making it a truly versatile system. The wide variety of compatible lenses include: Schneider leaf shutter lenses, Phase One Digital focal plane lenses, Hasselblad V lenses, and Mamiya 645 AFD lenses. The 645DF body also offers a wide range of digital back compatibility, making a future upgrade or swap-outs a possibility.
The provided software puts you on the ground running. Phase One Capture One DB is designed for use when tethered to a digital back. It features a sophisticated toolset that thinks like a photographer, lending to intuitive operation, along with a customizable graphic interface.
