Telescoping Digiscoping Adapter is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from connect any camera to spotting scope bought this since I have a generic (cannon) point and shoot camera, and a pretty good 80mm Vanguard spotting scope. Couldn't of course find a specific adapter since I don't have a SLR. But this kit comes with two sized rings so have lots of options if I want or need in the future to connect camera to other sized scopes? (I used the larger ring for my set-up.) This adapter is strong and lite. And I would guess that it would fit many small digital cameras out there today. No problems with B&H, first time using them though. thought to give it 5 stars, but haven't taken too many pic's yet. I set timer on camera to 2 sec., and it gives it time to stop shaking when I shoot. So far so good. RC

Rated 4 out of 5 by from once you get it set up it works great! I use the Digi adapter with a point and shoot camera on my orion space probe 130 eq telescope to record the planets and moon. The first time I tried to use the bracket it was hard because I didn't have a big object in view. But once the moon came out set up was relatively easy and once I got it centered it worked great. I am looking forward to using the Digi adapter with a DSLR camera soon so once I do I will write another review and let you know how it handles the heavier camera . But all in all it has medium construction and for the price you cant beat it with a stick!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great product but some flaws This can be used to mount any point and shoot/dslr to anything with an eyepiece that fits in the range of diameters one might find out there. Solid construction seems like it would hold up a brick without breaking. However, there are a lot of little pieces easily lost/broken. Works great once set up but could lose something during setup. Not pictured is an inner extension ring I couldn't figure out the purpose of. They give you two inner clamp sizes and one of mine came stripped so i couldn't lock it down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting Adapter Have not found this adapter to be capable of holding a full size DSLR. Have used it with a point and shoot camera with some decent results. Thought It might give me another option to go with my Tamron 150 - 600 telephoto, but that is not the case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for Point and Shoot Cameras Perfect for the smaller cameras.... A bit on the light weight side for SLR's. It works as advertised.... Works best with the self timer or remote shutter release. To much shake if you try to hit the shutter manually.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with my scope and P&S camera I use this adapter to connect my point and shoot Elph 100s camera to my Celestron Regal 80mm ED spotting scope eyepiece. Before buying this adapter, I had jerry-rigged my own adapter using some Ultra Clamps which are not intended for this use. This Barska adapter is much faster to set up and I can get a much better alignment too. It maintains alignment much better when I swing the camera away to look through my scope and swing the camera back to the eyepiece again. I still have to re-align slightly half of the time but it's pretty easy and quick. This adapter is versatile in that it comes with two sizes of fittings to go with different diameter eyepieces. While the individual X-Cel Series eyepieces for my Celestron Regal 80mm ED scope are smaller in diameter than the stock zoom eyepiece that comes with the scope, I can get by using only one of the set of fittings, but others may need both sets for their scopes. I like how versatile the two-bar camera holder section is. I can arrange the bars to get a perfect alignment of the camera without too much fussing around, and it's obvious that a much larger camera could be used with this adapter. With my own system of clamps the camera lens often banged against the eyepiece. I don't have that problem with this adapter. The weak link on this adapter is the way the eyepiece section fastens to the camera section. Because of the way the insert is made which surrounds and grabs the rod when the locking screw is tightened, the locking screw simply can not be tigthened completely snug against the rod. That's where the mis-alignment happens when swinging the camera away and back to the eyepiece again. In spite of that one inconvenience I am really happy with this Barska digi-adapter. I've not seen any adapters that look as versatile and workable without being much more expensive.
