The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate is a cheese plate-style hardware piece that's shaped to align perfectly with the contours of your HyperDeck Shuttle recorder. Attach the plate to the recorder using the four included bolts.

With a bevy of 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the Mounting Plate, you're bound to find a perfect spot for mounting the assembly to your rod-based camera rig, articulated arm, or battery plate. Attach a V-Mount or Anton Bauer battery plate, and you can mount 12-18V power very close to the HyperDeck Shuttle.

HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality some minor complaints. The build quality on this plate is good. I really wish Black Magic would have made it possible to mount this plate on either side as on my rig, I have to have it upside down so I can mount all my other gear. My main gripe is that if you're spending $on a piece of metal, the least they could have done is constructed it out of Aluminium or carbon fiber because this plate weights 1.1 lbs. If you have a fairly light rig, this will be noticeable when combined with the HyperDeck. If your rig is already a heavy rig, this probably won't matter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too heavy Bought it, never used it. This plate is heavier than the HyperDeck itself!!! My solution, I removed the rubber pad of the standard bottom plate and placed two strips of 3M DualLock (the strongest velcro fastener on the market). Now I snap the recorder on any surface (like the back of a battery plate. DO NOT BUY!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty Accessory Justifies Price Whime some may balk at the relatively high price of the Hyperdeck mounting plate optional accessory, compared to the price of the unit itself, the perfect fit, accuracy of machining, robust design capable of heavy duty attachement to other devices, vast number of attachment points, perfect threading and high quality thread inserts make it worth every penny. You cannot buy that type of quality for less. It does the job and more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too heavy! I returned the plate with out opening the box. I was shocked at the weight. I'm sure it is a nice addition in the right situation, but it wasn't for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stupid heavy. Excellent for mounting. Way too heavy to carry around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate The HyperDeck Shuttle Mounting Plate is a very useful addition to the HyperDeck system, and indispensable for using the system in a professional environment. It acts as a sort of 'cheese-plate' mounting system for the HyperDeck. My only complaint is that it is a bit on the heavy side, which is understandable since it is made out of milled metal, but camera operators have complained about it, especially for hand-held work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unnecessarily heavy Just because it's a pro accessory doesn't mean it has to weigh so much. The thing IS built as solid as can be, but since I can't actually mount anything else on top of the Hyperdeck, I don't understand the point since the actual Hyperdeck itself is not that heavy. Just weighs down my tripod and limits portability. But I guess this is the only thing that fits...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from way too heavy this thing is nearly twice as heavy as the recorder itself...
