The 1TB d2 Quadra Hard Disk Drive from LaCie is a high-capacity drive with a variety of different models that interface via eSATA, FireWire-400, FireWire-800, or USB 2.0 ports, depending on which is chosen. A quiet drive, the d2 enclosure features an aluminum heat sink design for fanless cooling.
The drive features 16MB of cache memory as well as a 5400 rpm rotation speed. This drive is an excellent solution for video editing, high-resolution imaging, data backup, or general storage.

The Shortcut Button feature is available via FireWire and USB but is not available from an eSATA bus. Windows Vista Ultimate 64 is not compatible with LaCie Shortcut button
