Large Clip Clamp with 5/8" Receptor and 3/8" Female Threads is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as tight a grip as I'd hoped I bought this hoping to use it to hold a DIY cucolaris with a c-stand. The clamp itself doesn't hold quite as tightly as I'd hoped, though I can probably still make due if there isn't much wind. Also, the clamp spins freely on the stud, meaning you can't hang it at a right angle facing upward from a c-stand (you can still grip something from the top, to hang down or from the side, if it's not windy. The lock for the stud receptor is solid though, so you can use it this way with an extra stud. Overall, it's usable, just not as solid as I'd hoped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, limited positions This clamp was a good buy. Very sturdy, it's not going anywhere and neither is anything I clamp it with! It's a little much for some things. I use foam core for bouncing light and this clamp makes dents in the soft material. The reason is the smaller mouth part of this clamp. If you need to clamp down soft material like foam board, I recommend getting a larger mouth clamp. They have some designed specifically for that use, but they're more expensive. This clamp also doesn't have a way to clamp it vertically, so I have to angle my c-stand awkwardly to get the board someone angled. This only mounts horizontally. I'll invest a little more money in a different product next time for my use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get your clamp on! These clamps make life easier. No joke. The versatility to clamp a light to almost anything anywhere. Every photographer who uses speed lights needs a few of these. A fence post a tree limb a camera bag a light stand or a 2x4. Cheap enough to use and abuse. Get creative with your lighting. Get the flash off camera and experiment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as good as Manfotto! Various holding tasks! Better price than the Manfrotto model! Have not found any not so great issues with it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bit disappointed The clamp itself is great. What I don't like is the lack of choices as to how to attach my light to it. I had planned to use it as a practical with some Ikan Piatto accent lights but the male attachment juts out from the side of the clamp rather than the top. So I must jerry rig a way to clamp it sideways. The clamp itself is very strong. Just a lousy design. The price was cheap enough, maybe too cheap and that should have been a red flag but bought it anyway.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from heavy duty, supports a lot of weight, but has one flaw This is larger and stronger than I expected, so I'm pleased that it will support more weight than I anticipated. the only drawback is that the stud that protrudes from the side rotates, so it can't hold anything in a fixed horizontal position...which is what I bought it for. Even with this flaw, I will still have other uses for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from robust build, but 3/8 thread isn't working I am impressed with the heft of this clamp and I'm confident it will come in handy. However the 5/8 receptor spins (it isn't secured in one position) and none of my 3/8 parts will screw into the 3/8 thread. Otherwise, this is a really nice clamp for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy Andy Clamp I use this clamp to hold reflector or flag boards in the studio. Very rugged. Two ways to connect to the light stand. Adaptable to all sorts of gadgets. No complaints or negative comments to make.
