The genuine F1-style scratched brushed-metal shifters and reinforced scratched brushed-metal facing ensure optimum solidity and inertia. Plus, the rubber-textured wheel means a realistic, comfortable grip to help you withstand extended gaming sessions and improve your lap times.

The wheel offers a myriad of knobs, switches and action buttons for precise input during gameplay. Two encoder rotary knobs let you adjust your car settings directly during the race. It also has eight push-buttons, three 3-position metal switches that offer wheel re-centering, two high-pressure, 8-directional D-pads that respond to realistic pressure, and two up/down speed shifters.

I'd been looking at purchasing this wheel rim for quite some time.� It always seemed to be just out of the price range I wanted to pay. Enter B&H with their great sale pricing. It was time. I ordered it for less than half of what other stores were charging. The product arrived well packaged and in a very short amount of time. I'm absolutely enjoying racing opened-wheel cars with it. You couldn't ask for better.

Great wheel, but lacks polish

This wheel is a very immersive add-on if you're into F1 or LMP racing games. All of the useable buttons have good feel and feedback, and are easily customizable via the Thrustmaster software. It lacks some finish though... the sticker labels for the functional buttons are fairly cheap. The F1-style rotary dials around the center bezel are all fake (as I'm sure you're probably already aware), but they look very cheap in person. The low point is the grip material... it's very sticky and cheap feeling. I'll likely cut it off and put a decent suede or leather steering wheel wrap on it myself. Overall, the wheel is functionally outstanding and worth the money in spades, but there are some cheap points that might bother some users. I don't mind a little DIY to perfect it, given that it's a fraction of the cost of the more recently produced F1 wheel with the integrated display.

Well built but puzzling

The Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On is a well built wheel. It is solid with no flex, the grips are rubber not plastic and feel comfortable, the switches at the bottom are two-way, the buttons are solid feeling and the click is deep in the bottom of the stroke, and the whole thing is extremely light meaning better force feedback response. The con's for me are that the paddle shifter is a solid bar, and all six of the dials on the face are non-functional decoration. I'd really like to see Thrustmaster turn these into separate paddles and functional dials accordingly. Overall a good wheel that could be great with two tweaks.

Yes the F1 ADD on wheel is compatible with the TS-XW. All Thrustmaster add on wheels are compatible withe the TS-XW (as well as the folllowing systems, T300, TX, PC Racer and T-GT).
