Manual Extension Tube Set for Nikon is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well for the price The four star rating is for the fact that these tubes work well if you know what you are doing. They are well made for the price but do not and should not be compared to name brand auto extension tubes. If you are comfortable with fully manual everything on you camera, use a tripod and a focusing rail you can get excellent results with these. Since they are manual aperture stopping down for more depth of field will make focusing a problem. So you focus wide open and then stop down just like an auto lens. There is no focus assist so you do need a good eye.I would recommend these to anyone who wants to experiment with extension tubes or only uses them occasionally and is fully comfortable with manual aperture and focusing.

The attached flower image is a 13 exposure, focus stacked image using a Nikor 50mm, f 1.8 at f16 and the extension tubes. The moss on the pine tree was a 20 exposure focus stack using the same lens.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great if you want to damage your lens This cheaply made extension tube set does not hold on or lock my Carl Zeiss 100mm makro planar lens onto the camera. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT or you will end up with a broken lens as it will fall off the camera when you try to manual focus!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Alternative to a $ Macro Lens A cheap easy alternative to an expensive macro lens? Here it is. While it may not quite have the performance of a Macro lens, the extension tubes do a fine job of magnifying your subject. I attached these tubes to my Nikon D5200 with a 35-75mm lens. The results were wonderful. This picture was of a few strains of moss, the stems of which were thinner than that of a piece of paper. Do yourself a favor and give these extension tubes a try before investing too much in a high-end Macro Lens.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Usable, but consider thread-lock All components screw together, but do not lock together (I would consider using a thread-lock compound). Front and back pieces are always required as they provide the F-mount interfaces, and these do latch to the camera and lens. Not certain, but the f-mount interfaces seem to be somewhat loose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits and Works The product does not come with instructions, but it is easy to figure out. The pieces fit together well and properly attach to the camera. Product is made of metal. It does work for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Works perfectly. Very nice finish. I don't see how they can do such high quality machining for that low a price!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Impressed In all fairness, this was my first time using extension tubes, but I am going with automatic instead...
