Is this cable fully electrically compatible with fast charging an Asus Zenfone 2 smartphone at 9 V and 2 A current? I am worried that the electrical resistance of the cable might cause it to overheat or even catch fire due to the relatively high current of 2 A. Or the cable might just dissipate a portion of the energy into heat and thus slow down the charging process.
Chances are it works but it was not tested; with that said, the cable was also not designed for fast charging.
