Key Features
  • Delta Sigma 24-Bit 96kHz Converter
  • Analog XLR & 1/4" Combo Inputs x 8
  • Transformer Isolated Inputs x 8 Channels
  • Passive Level Attenuators x 8 Channels
The 24-bit 96kHz Delta Sigma SM Pro Audio AB8 Converter supports multi-channel analog to digital ADAT conversion. It converts eight analog front-panel inputs down to a single digital interface that's compatible with most of today's digital audio products. The converter features a total of eight balanced XLR / unbalanced line combo analog inputs and a single ADAT digital interface output. This setup makes the AB8 an ideal choice for any studio, as it has the flexibility to handle a variety of configurations.

The AB8 also features transformer isolated inputs on all eight channels, which prevents audio signal interference from excessive hum and other noises. Free from noise problems associated with power or grounding issues and equipped with shielding that deters any stray electrical interference, the AB8 supports reliable and professional analog to digital ADAT format stream conversion with absolute fidelity.

Like other high-end analog to digital converters, the AB8 supports 24-bit, full-resolution converting with both internal and external sync sample rates at 44.1/48kHz. The converter also features a BNC word clock input and BNC word clock output on the rear-panel of the device. Plus, to ensure maximum durability, the converter is wrapped in a rugged metal chassis and all eight inputs are equipped with robust XLR / quarter-inch combo connectors.
