The National Optical & Scientific Instruments 446-TBL-10 Stereo Microscope is both compact and budget-friendly, making it ideal for use in the lab as well as in other locations. Two magnifications of 1x and 3x are provided by the binocular widefield 10x eyepieces - which sit on a 45° inclined head. The viewing head also rotates 360° for easy sharing with lab partners.
The 446-TBL-10 features both top and bottom tungsten illumination and a 4 position light control for top, bottom, top and bottom, and off options. The lights illuminate the two 80mm frosted glass stage plates (with reversible black/white plastic contrast plate) for a clear, accurate view of specimens, while locked-on stage clips keep the specimen in place.
