A complete two light kit designed for vlogging, video chatting, and other recording applications in front of a computer, the ViewMe B2 LED Light Kit from Videssence includes a pair of bracket-mounted LED panels along with the necessary accessories to mount and power the two lights. This kit comes with Z bracket yokes, which attach directly to the top of a computer monitor using hook-and-loop tape in order to position the lights just above eye-level for even, soft, and direct coverage.
Each of the lights feature 3.4W HF2 LEDs that produce a warm 3000K-balanced light with a CRI of 85 and a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours. Integrated aluminum reflectors offer even lighting coverage and the included brackets let you position the lights for greater control. Also included is a 120-230V power source with US style plug, as well as a jumper cable to link both of the lights.

The Videssence lighting I purchased and installed on my desktop computer for online meetings at my office made me look terrible online and blinded me as well. The only reason I still have them is because I've been too lazy to throw them away. Do not buy this product.

I use video conferencing a lot for work and this gives a nice even lighting for almost any situation. You still can't have a bright light directly behind you but otherwise these lights work very well.

What is Watt-equiv output of this pair of lights? Specs say 3.4W (I assume per lamp). At typ conv ratio of 3.8, that's only 26 W-eq for the pair! That's feeble, even for intended use on videochat. What am I missing?
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not publish a watt equivalent rating for these lights. The only measurement they offer is a foot candle rating of 22 at a distance of 18 inches from the subject.
