Key Features
  • Nine Power Conditioning Outlets
  • Dataline Surge Protection
  • Isolated Filter Banks
  • Sequenced Power On/Off
The AV Network Manageable 20 Amp G Type Rack Power Filter 120V by APC uses power conditioning to protect high-performance audio and video equipment from damage due to power surges, spikes and lightning strikes. It features nine outlets with peak load, power and energy monitoring for each device connected as well as voltage monitoring, current monitoring for outlet banks and power monitoring for phases. The isolated filter banks eliminate EMI and RFI(Electromagnetic and Radio Frequency Interference) while built-in dataline protection prevents potential surges to connected equipment on the data ports.

The front panel has several convenient features such as a removable flashlight for inspection in dimly lit environments and an easily accessible circuit breaker switch. The LCD display along with twelve LED indicators provides easy-to-read information with the setup and status buttons properly located under the LCD. Additionally, the unit's LED and display brightness can be adjusted independently to suit your individual taste and environment. The rear panel features eight outlets as well as Network, Serial and Can-Bus In/Out network ports along with a system ground.

Three levels of user accounts can be created including Administrator, Device User and Read-Only User and editable alarm thresholds provide visual and network alerts to avoid overloaded circuits. Other protection and notifications include security protocols for authentication and encryption along with power filter and system event messages sent directly to your email address. Event logs can be accessed using Telnet, SCP (Secure CoPy), FTP (File Transfer Protocol), serial connection or through a web browser with HTTP and HTTPS access.

The Rack Power Filter can be managed through its display, web interface or by command line. The outlets can be controlled independently and include configurable power on/off delays. Sequenced turn on/off helps power on components in the proper order to prevent speaker stress. Proper sequencing can also help manage current draw on startup and prevent unnecessary circuit breaker tripping.
