TASCAM RC-10 Overview

Designed to eliminate touch noises while recording, the TASCAM RC-10 Wired Remote Control is a wired/wireless convertible remote control for TASCAM DR-series recorders including the DR-100, DR-100MKII, DR-100MKIII, DR-60D, and DR-40. As a compact wired remote it allows you to control the functions of the DR-40 or DR-100MKII handheld digital audio recorder. The device includes a 10' wired cable with 2.5mm connectors and a lithium-ion battery for wireless operation.

Simply stated: This accessory was not available from any other vendor. B&H has privided hard to find items for me in the past with perfect success. So I would recommending B&H if your search for items list them as a source...With Cinfidence and Enthusiasm.

Dead battery out of the box

This is a generic remote (I agree it should have come standard with the recorder) and Im sure it works fine but it came with a dead battery right out of the box.

The RC-10 cannot be used as a wireless remote control with the DR-60D.See p.90 in the DR-60D Owner's Manual.Thank you for your interest in TASCAM products.
