This adapter fits great on the stock cable (no mic/remote control) that came with the beyerdynamic Custom One Pro headphones. It screws on smoothly and looks like the adapter that originally shipped with the headphones.

I'm tired of adapters breaking in the sockets and doing all kinds of gymnastics to get the stuck parts out. So far these have been very sturdy and have a great fit. I bought a few, just in case. So far so good!

Yes, the Pearstone 1/4" screw-on adapter is compatible for use with Yamaha HPH-MT5 headphones. Yamaha includes the same type of screw-on adapter to convert the threaded 3.5mm connector to 1/4".
