Roots SDX - Brushes, Rods & Mallets from Toontrack is a 36GB expansion pack for the Superior Drummer 2.0 drum sampler (requires version 2.3). It features Jazz drums that in reality transcend the narrow confines of the genre and rather define an era - an age of music spanning from Jazz, Blues to Hip Hop and Rock.
The library was recorded in Blackbird's Studio A in Nashville, TN, using the best industry-renowned equipment, with an emphasis on making the sounds part of a musical expression, rather than individual monotonous hits. It features a large selection of different drums and cymbals from Pearl, Gretsch, Ludwig, Zildjian, and Paiste.
