The PhaseMistress from Sound Toys is a virtual analog phaser for Avid Pro Tools HD systems. It delivers the phase-shifting sound found on classic hardware devices, including the Bi-Phase, Boss Super Phaser, Phase 90, the Moogerfooger 12 stage, Small Stone, Trine, and many more. In addition to emulating the classics, the plug-in adds software functionality, such as MIDI sync and a large preset library.
Versatile and creative using the included LFO, Envelope Follower, Random, ADSR, and a Rhythm Mode, the plug-in can be used in a variety of applications. MIDI locked 4 bar sweeps, custom rhythmic patterns, talk box random phase, and wide stereo swirls can all work on guitar, bass, drums, vocals, even whole mixes. The interface looks and feels like a friendly piece of hardware, allowing the user to quickly switch between modulation modes.
